Every year St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated by over 75 million people worldwide. And for the 12th time in a row, Grote Markt, Den Haag, O’Casey’s Irish Pub and Irish Club Netherlands join forces for a dazzling celebration of Irish culture, smack-bang in the heart of the city. Be Irish for one day and come celebrate with us!

 

On Sunday the 17th of March, from late afternoon until just before midnight this is the largest celebration of St. Patrick’s Day in the Netherlands. Get ready to green the city with the best Irish dancing schools in Europe, large pints, great music, good laughs and even better dancing!

What: Don’t miss the Ireland Film Festival! An exciting line-up of movies all filmed against the stunning décor of the Emerald Isle.

Action movies, romantic comedies, drama, animation and nature documentaries – there will be something for everyone!

BIKE
Park your steel steed safely and free of charge at Biesieklette. Just check the opening hours of your bike shed.

CAR
We don’t recommend it, but if necessary: you can park at Q-park.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
From The Hague Central Station, take tram 2, 3, 4 or 6 in the direction of the city centre. 2nd stop ‘Grote Markt’ and you get off in the heart of the Pop District.

From Hollands Spoor station take tram 1, 9 or 16 to the Centrum stop, then a few minutes down Grote Marktstraat until you hear the music.

Trams run in the evening until around 1am, after which night buses go.

Night trains run every hour from The Hague Hollands Spoor to Amsterdam, Schiphol, Leiden, Rotterdam, Delft and Utrecht. For more info, check htm.nl and ns.nl.
